Designs
Custom Home Design
Archimages creates custom homes from scratch, to meet the specific needs of the client. Plans are only duplicated for small developments where repetitiveness is appropriate. The typical design process starts with conceptual designs and finishes with a complete set of contract documents. All projects very, but the typical process may look like this:
Preliminary or schematic design phase
1/8" schematic drawings are prepared with information gathered by client communications, site visits, and from topographic/tree/boundary surveys. Generally floor plans, entry elevation, and schematic site plan comprise this stage.
Preliminary Working Drawing Phase
Once the schematic phase is complete the working drawing phase begins with ¼ scale drawings. generally comprised of floor plans exterior elevations, sectional drawings, site plan, and basic details.
Final working drawing phase
Upon completion of the preliminary working drawing phase the final contract documents are completed. In addition to the aforementioned the documents generally are comprised of custom details (trim, fireplaces, cabinetry, columns, wall sections,
etc.), electrical plans, structural plans (foundation, floor framing, roof framing, etc.), specifications and schedules.
Supervision and Implementation Phase
The contract documents are presented to your local, development, and review Committee. ( if not previously required )
Contract documents are then issued to contractors for bidding purposes and finally awarded to a contractor. The project is then supervised to ensure
contractor compliance, and to represent the client throughout the building process.

• Graphics and/or Lettering are added by computer for clarity, when appropriate.)
• Aerial Photography (individual homes, properties, and developments)
• Site Review (To aid the property purchaser or realtor in choosing a site suitable to the client.)
